The autopsy report from the Department of Forensic Medicine indicated that Brazilian Adriana Vieira was drowning victim. The 31-year-old model died during a trip to a marina in the city of Miami, United States, on September 22

Also according to the analysis, which used information gathered by the police department, the model was on a boat in Key Biscayne with a group of friends. At the time, some of them left the water after seeing the jellyfish, but the Brazilian chose to continue.

“The group consumed food and alcoholic beverages. One of the passengers spotted jellyfish and warned those in the water to get out. The victim chose to remain in the water. She did several somersaults in the water and then dove headfirst. It never surfaced again,” reads the report published by the newspaper Miami New Times.

The autopsy also found that no drugs or drugs of any kind were found in Vieira’s body. The Coast Guard said it located and removed the model’s body from the water about 10 minutes after the incident.
