The rapper returns to Brazil to perform at the event’s return show after a four-year hiatus
The Villa Mix Festival has announced rapper Post Malone as the main international attraction of its return edition, which will take place on December 21, at the Neo Química Arena, in Sao Paulo. The event, known for its tradition in the panorama of country music and Brazilian popular music, surprises by including the artist among the main names of this edition, after a four-year break from 2019.
Return to Brazil
This will be Post Malone’s fourth time performing in Brazil. The rapper was already in the country in 2019, as one of the Lollapalooza attractions, and, in 2022, was part of the Rock in Rio line-up. More recently, in 2023, he took to the stage at The Town festival, also in São Paulo. Now he returns for an exclusive performance at Villa Mix, after embracing country in his most recent work.
Recent works
Post Malone, owner of hits like “Circles” and “Rockstar”, is on the rise with his recent album “F-1 Trillion”, released in August with a more country sound, which marks a different phase in the rapper’s career. Furthermore, this year he also collaborated with Beyoncé on the album “Cowboy Carter”, the singer’s country album, and also participated in Taylor Swift’s latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department”, singing a duet on the song ” Fortnite,” which won “Video of the Year” at the 2024 VMAs.
Ticket sales
Ticket sales for the Villa Mix Festival will begin this Monday (7/10), from 10 am, on the Eventim website. The public will be able to pay for purchases in up to 6 interest-free installments.
The complete line-up will however be communicated by the festival organizers, who promise further news in the coming days.
