Laetitia discovers that Hippolytus is ill

In the morning, Stanislas knocks on the door of Laetitia’s house, to whom he owes an explanation. He apologizes for lying about the rules of the championship and explains that he was not sure if this type of competition was suitable for him. He didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable. It is the same for Laetitia: she is ashamed of him. That’s how he ends the conversation.

At Double A, while Bill is in the middle of a presentation to the other students, Laetitia arrives to warn her that she will also be entering the competition as a freelance candidate. He adds that Hippolyte and Frank Vallier assessed his level and then allowed him to participate. Bill, however, finds it odd that two people represent an institution.

The young woman returns to her presentation to her comrades, while Laetitia is struck. Tom adds another layer by insisting that he doesn’t have the level to beat his girlfriend and that he can only enter the competition because he’s going with Stanislas.

Not to be disappointed, Leticia hopes that Lionel and Ines will prepare her for the competition. They prepare a scenario as well as a reading to test it. But Laetitia panics and makes a mistake. At the same time, she receives a message from Hippolytus, who asks to see her immediately.

When he finds her in the park, she accuses him of cheating. In fact, she discovered that Stanislas never wanted her to compete. Laetitia admits she lied, but defends her legitimacy and participation in the championship. However, Hippolytus decides to exclude him.

When Laetitia reminds him that Frank Vallier has agreed to take part in the championship for him, Hippolyte suddenly has a memory lapse and seems to no longer know what they are talking about. Disoriented ends the discussion. But Laetitia sees him taking the orange potion.

Meanwhile, Stanislas takes Billy to Double A. He congratulates her on her job, then excuses her for the rest of the day. At the same time, Antoine comes to see Butler to sign the administration papers for him. Stanislaus takes the opportunity to discuss his relationship problems with the assistant director, who opens his eyes to the opportunity that the championship represents in Laetitia’s eyes. Stanislas realizes that he should have supported his partner. In the end, he doesn’t feel so different from his macho and reactionary father. Antoine emphasizes that there is still time to catch up.

In turn, Laetitia confides in Penelope about Hippolyte’s absence and medication. Thanks to their shape and color, Penelope recognizes these medications because her aunt took the same for Alzheimer’s disease.

Letitia returns to see Hippolyte to confront him about it. He admits that no one knows, especially his son. However, Laetitia believes that she has the right to be informed and emphasizes that she is unable to say anything. Hippolyte then offers him a deal: if he keeps quiet about his illness, he agrees to participate in the Maitre d’ Championship…

Anais and Milan buried the hatchet

In the kitchen, Anais briefs her team before serving. She states that there will now be a rotation of staff in the food preparation position. It is Sabri, who is appointed from Milan, who joins the brigade as a clerk. Anais then specifies that the restaurant is full and will be attended by regular customers. After which he informs Jude that he will be gone for a few days and hopes that he will replace him as the leader.

During the service, Milan keeps asking Anais for confirmation about her vegetable slices so he can’t accuse her of following his instructions. In addition to exaggerating and causing the brigade to fall behind, it especially plates the plate for the regulars who come to Double A. At the end of her nerves, Anais goes out for fresh air.

After the service, Anais keeps Milan to offer to bury the hatchet once and for all. He admits that his dismissal from the squad was unprofessional. But he admits that he did it because it is still difficult for him to concentrate in her presence. Milan then realizes that the young woman still has feelings for him. If he’s willing to try anything, Anais replies that their story will never work because she knows he’ll end up hurting her. Milan does not deny.

Later, Hortense joins Anais and Jude in the park. Both will receive a new Double A schedule from Myriel. They notice that Milan is only on duty on the days that Judy is the chef. Anais suggests that talking to him paid off.

Mark decides to go to Ethiopia

Seeing Jasmine and Jimmy walking by his house, Mark tries to keep them in every way: for dinner or on the weekend. But the couple, who want to get together after everything they’ve been through, already have a lot planned. Mark doesn’t blame them.

Meanwhile, Rose confesses to Constance that Mark tried to kiss her the other day during the cooking class. Surprised at first, Rose admits it wasn’t unpleasant. However, she doesn’t see herself starting a relationship with Mark, especially since he already has a history with Clotilda.

Later, Constance meets Mark, who asks her to get vaccinated so she can get up to speed so she can go and join a friend in Ethiopia. Constance then texts Rose to warn her about this hasty departure.

At the end of the day, Jimmy said goodbye to his father at the gate of the institute. Then it’s Rose’s turn to say goodbye. Mark thanks her for the discussion the day before: he now knows that there is nothing stopping him and that he can go. The rose moved. As they look about to kiss, Mark spins on his heel to avoid missing the train. Rose comes back, visibly torn.
