Singer Iza gave birth to Nala, her first daughter with football player Yuri Lima. The baby was born on Sunday morning, the 13th, in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro.

“On 13/24/10, at 7:52 am, Nala was born, in the Glória Perinatal Hospital, in Rio de Janeiro, under the care of Dr. Bruno Wunder de Alencar. The birth was by cesarean section and both mothers and the baby are well,” read the statement sent to gshow.

The singer also posted a photo of Nala’s hand on her Instagram profile and wrote: “May you come on a Sunday morning, I announce it to you in the bells of the cathedral…” 💞 Nala 10/13/2024″.

The day before, Iza had also made a post on social media joking that it was time for her daughter to be born. “Daughter, I know it’s comfortable there… but everything is ready, you can come,” the artist said in a post.

Troubled pregnancy

Iza announced the pregnancy of her first daughter in April 2024. In May, she and Yuri Lima shared a baby shower video, which showed that the singer was expecting a baby girl. “Welcome, Nala,” the artist wrote.
