Between investigations into extortion and sex trafficking against Sean “Diddy” CombsMopreme Shakur, brother of Tupacmurdered in 1996, spoke about the rapper’s death and Diddy’s possible involvement.




In an interview on the program Piers Morgan uncensoredhe said he doesn’t trust the word of Diddy, who claims he was not involved in Tupac’s death. In 2008, the defendant told the Los Angeles team this had nothing to do with the crime.

“My opinion is that I don’t think that was a 100 percent honest statement. We need to find out what’s true and what’s false. What’s real and what’s false,” Mopreme said.

Tupac’s brother also revealed that the rapper denied personal involvement in Tupac’s death when the two met in Los Angeles. According to Mopreme, DJ Big Boy mediated the conversation.

“[Ele] he basically said he had nothing to do with my brother’s murder. I told him, “The truth hasn’t come out yet, so let’s see.” Here we are, 27, 28 years later, there seems to be some doubt in that statement, along with all the other suspicions that people have.”

Tupac was killed at the age of 25. He was driving in Las Vegas when he was shot. The singer was taken to hospital, where he remained for six days, but died from his injuries.
