The journalist Angelyn Mock47 years old, known in the United States only as Angie Mock, was arrested by police in Wichita, Kansas, accused of killing her mother, Anita Avers. She was 80 years old and was stabbed to death, according to local press reports. The murder occurred on the morning of Friday 31st, the day Halloween is celebrated in the United States.



According to the local press, Angie was found in front of her house, injured and covered in blood. The mother was unconscious on the bed with numerous puncture wounds. She was immediately taken to hospital, but did not survive and died in the treatment ward.

Mock is being held in the Sedgwick County Jail and her bond has been set at $1 million.
