Vera Viel showed the recovery process surgery to remove a tumor in the left thigh. In a video published on Friday 25th, two weeks after the operation, the presenter appears while she is doing it physiotherapy exercises.

The recording is narrated by her husband Rodrigo Faro, who praises and jokes with his partner: “Today is physiotherapy day for recovery. It’s going well. This is the leg that was operated on. I think you just have to shoot left-handed and you won’t be able to do that for a while.”

The operation was carried out on Friday the 11th, the day before Viel’s birthday, at the Hospital Israelista Albert Einstein, in Sao Paulo, and lasted about eight hours. The diagnosis received by the speaker was Synovial Sarcoma, a rare malignant tumor of the left thigh.
Since the surgery, Viel has noticed a change in how she views the “pursuit of beauty.”
“I always cared about my legs, about having beautiful legs… And I had a tumor on my leg. Today I don’t care about having two scars on my leg… It doesn’t mean anything that you “You are beautiful and wonderful. I need my legs so much to take care of my daughters, to walk.
