Vera Viel took to her Instagram to share a video showing scars after surgery to treat synovial sarcoma, a rare type of cancer that appears in the thigh region. The woman of Rodrigo Faro I took the opportunity to reflect on the topic.

“The scars from my operation are more than physical signs. They are a testimony of overcoming, of resistance, of healing, of the miracle of God in my life. Many people are ashamed or embarrassed when they show their scars. But these marks make part of our history and identity,” he said.

Then, Vera Viel continued: “Showing a scar can be an act of courage, a way to accept what happened and celebrate the healing journey. Each scar carries a record of the challenges faced and overcome.
