Heidi Klum looks unrecognizable in an ET Halloween costume and reveals she’s wearing a diaper

Model Heidi Klum surprised once again with her Halloween costume, and appeared unrecognizable dressed as ET, a classic character from Steven Spielberg’s film. She shared the secrets behind the costume and revealed that she also had to wear a nappy.

The German model and presenter is known for choosing iconic looks every year to celebrate the date, always surprising with her mega elaborate costumes.

On social media he showed a video in which he arrives at the place where he prepares for Halloween. The presenter realized that the costume would make it impossible for her to go to the bathroom, and that’s why she made the decision.

“It won’t be possible to pee or poop. I could wear a diaper, right? I’ll wear a diaper because if something goes in my bladder, it has to come out. I’ll wear a diaper, I don’t care. So, diapers, here we go,” she said .

Heidi Klum said her inspiration for dressing up came from one of her favorite movies. “From the moment I started imagining my costume for the 25th anniversary of #HeidiHalloween, I was inspired by one of my favorite movies. When I was nine years old in Germany, ET introduced me to the idea that life exists outside of planet Earth. So, over the last year we’ve all come together to figure out how to put my own spin on such an iconic character. I know ET wanted to go home, but I hope that if the movie was set in 2024, the my favorite alien I would come to my party. To my husband for always dressing up with me year after year and thank you to the best and most talented team who made my wildest dream come true and I couldn’t have done it without you.

Fantasy secrets

Heidi only discovered the mechanism of the costume the day she put it on, together with her husband. The two used a support that connected their neck and head, preventing much movement. Their heads were on the character’s neck, which moved via remote control. To get the right size for ET, the two got down on one knee.

“Actually, for the first time, it was a completely digital design. We innovated the way it was done, not just for Halloween, but for movies,” explained Mike Marino, director and prosthetic designer.
