During cancer treatment, Preta Gil had to cancel a show at a festival, following medical advice. The news was spread through their social networks. The singer was on the bill of the Rock The Mountain 2024 Festival, which will start next Friday (8), in the city of Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro.

Official statement

The consultancy of Black confirmed the fact: “Preta Gil will not participate in Rock The Mountain 2024 due to medical advice, as he continues to undergo cancer treatment.” Furthermore, the festival organization also released an official statement: “[Show] postponed once again, we hope to be able to count on it soon”, they said on Tuesday (5).
