Argentine police have arrested three people suspected of involvement in the death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, who died on October 16, aged 31. Payne fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The detainees are accused of “abandonment of a person resulting in death” and “supplying and aiding and abetting narcotics”, according to prosecutor Andres Esteban Madrea.

A toxicology test performed after Payne’s death revealed the presence of cocaine, crack and other substances in his system.
