Eliminated competitors, worked as a teacher: truth and myths about the life of Alla Pugacheva

VOICE recalls interesting and surprising facts about the life of Alla Pugacheva.

Alla Pugacheva is a woman of whom legends are composed. What’s there! She herself is a legend. We present to you the most interesting and lesser-known facts, as well as analyze several myths about the personality of the artist.

Worked as a teacher

Yes, yes, before becoming a famous artist throughout the Union, Alla Borisovna worked as a music teacher. Her teaching career did not last long – only 4 months, however, in the hearts of students of Moscow School No. 621 she left a mark forever. “She dressed in the latest fashion, and as soon as she sat down at the piano, all the boys just fell in love with her. As a rule, she was late, but she entered the class without a shadow of embarrassment, ”Prima Donna students Vera and Nadezhda Tyuryutikov recalled years later. According to them, the future artist was not a strict teacher and never put a devil.

Soon Alla Borisovna won the competition with the song “Arlekino” and left school.

Nicknames

For a loud voice and a strict manner of speaking, schoolchildren gave Alla Borisovna the nickname – Alka-Krychalka. This was not the only “nickname” in the life of the Primadonna: in childhood she was nicknamed the Feldwebel – translated into Russian, this is the title corresponding to the foreman. At school, the girl was teased by the name Shai – it was the name of the boy she stood up for, and soon the name stuck with her.

famous picture

A voluminous tousled hairstyle and hoodies are the signature image of Alla Pugacheva, which actually appeared by accident. Once, on the eve of the festival in Poland, the singer had an unsuccessful perm. Alla Borisovna was in a panic, not understanding at all how to go on stage with burnt hair. Salvation came in the person of Lyubov Aksyonova, who sewed a crazy style outfit for the artist. Seeing him, Pugacheva literally came to life. “I am saved! – she exclaimed. “The image of the Shiza has been created!”

Feud with Rotaru

This fact falls more into the category of myths. Sofia Rotaru and Alla Pugacheva started their path to fame around the same time – at the same age, with a similar repertoire. Naturally, the artists had to share a place in the sun. And, as they say, they did it in a very hostile way. At first, Sofia Mikhailovna was a little luckier, from where, according to rumors, their feud began – skirmishes and all sorts of unflattering statements about each other.

The public did not notice such a thing: the actresses never showed outright hostility. On the contrary, it seemed that they had a good friendly relationship.

They tell how Alla Borisovna did not have a dressing room, while Sofia Mikhailovna had one. Then Rotaru calmly let his colleague in. And years later, the singers completely dispelled the myth of enmity between themselves, performing in a duet: the women sang the famous hit from the Tatu group – “They Won’t Catch Us”, causing a sensation.

Elimination of rivals

With enviable regularity, rumors appear in the media about a new artist who suffered from the actions of Alla Pugacheva. For example, some time ago Sergei Sosedov said that Valentina Legkostupova could become a super popular singer, but she was “actually closed” – at the request of the Diva.

They say that the singer Anastasia was also expelled from the national stage by the forces of Alla Borisovna. The “High Heel” hitmaker looked a lot like a Primadonna and didn’t suit her for that fact alone.

Tatyana Antsiferova became famous thanks to the performance of the anthem of the Olympics-80 and songs from the film “June 31”. According to the singer, her success touched Alla Borisovna so much that she ordered Tatyana’s performances to be cut from concerts. “You know, I think she was the one plotting something against me. Maybe she doesn’t remember the senile madness now, but at some point she put her legs down for me,” Antsiferova said.

Repeatedly, the singers to whom Pugacheva cut off the oxygen on stage were also called Lika Star (allegedly in revenge for the fact that she dared to have an affair with Vladimir Presnyakov), Olga Zarubina (took away the Iceberg , which became a hit ), Clémentine and others.

Philip Kirkorov defended the Primadonna more than once. Singer Julian echoes her: “No matter how you listen, Pugacheva blocked the road for everyone. It’s already a kind of fad gone: blame Alla for your troubles. What kind of horror?

Chased a maniac

In 1980, the maniac Anatoly Nagiyev drove out Alla Pugacheva. The man was obsessed with the artist – so much so that he managed to sneak into her dressing room and even once be with her in the elevator. Witnesses prevented the maniac from killing the singer. Nevertheless, the man brutally treated five women who looked like Alla Borisovna. Fortunately, the maniac was caught. He was shot.

Follies

Soviet authorities called Alla Pugacheva one of the most unreliable singers – her crazy ideas and outrageous antics were to blame. Diehard Diva fans still remember how, in 1989, she sat in front of someone’s car for a little need, before returning to their house – and that under the eyes of several photographers! The paparazzi immediately took several photos which were scattered all over the country. “What, have you ever seen needy women on the doorstep?” – only Alla Borisovna answered then. Well, what a woman!
