The host of Fantástico, on TV Globo, Maju Coutinho, 46, has been married since 2009 to the publicist Agostinho Paulo Moura, 61. She revealed that she has no desire to have children for now.

In an interview with the UOL portal, Maju explained that, normally, when asked about motherhood, she says “I don’t want to”. However, she stressed that, even if she does not want to become a mother, she does not exclude the possibility of pregnancy, and for this reason she decided to freeze her eggs, as she said in an interview with Extra.

“I always say I don’t want it, but I don’t rule it out. It’s just that when you tell society, you have time to think for yourself. A door closes and you can develop the idea, without external pressure. Do I want to have children because I want them or because others want them? When we get married it seems like the clock is ticking, they immediately want to know when the kids are coming. Or they start saying: it’s too early, it’s too late. It gets crazy. Not to mention the pressure on women. I have several cousins ​​who don’t have kids and no one questions it. But I swear to God, if a baby comes, I will be very happy,” she told UOL.

The presenter believes that the decision to freeze her eggs was a form of prevention, in case she changed her mind about becoming a mother. He opted for the procedure when his professional career started to take off.

Maju has two stepchildren, Gustavo and Danilo, the result of Agostinho’s previous relationship. For her it is as if she were a “big sister” of her husband’s children, who is already a grandfather.

The presenter’s relationship with her husband’s grandchildren is one of affection. “They call me Maju. There are two, there is Laura, who is already a teenager, very sweet, and Murilo, who is a child and has become my favorite. The other day we were at a party, I talked to him a little and when it was time to leave he hugged me: ‘Maju, I will miss you so much’,” he said.
