Anitta reassures fans by showing up at the hospital: “well taken care of”

Singer Anitta is in Sao Paulo to prepare for endometriosis surgery

Anitta left fans worried after appearing admitted to a hospital in Sao Paulo on the night of this past Monday, 18.

The singer recently found out she has endometriosis and is preparing to undergo surgery. Not having explained the reason for the hospitalization, she started receiving many messages, and on the morning of this Tuesday, 19, she showed up on Instagram Stories and talked about the operation.

“To all my friends who write to me worried. I forgot to explain in English, I only said in Portuguese, sorry,” she began, saying she went straight from the tour she was doing in Europe to the hospital. “To begin preparations for the surgery I will do as soon as my body is ready. The surgery was already scheduled before the tour started,” she added.

Then, Anitta explained that she has endometriosis, a disease “very common in millions of women around the world, but not advertised as it should”. She also reassured the fans: “I’m fine, I’m very well looked after and I’ll keep you all informed. With love,” she concluded.

Company of boyfriends and friends

In Instagram Stories, Anitta shared a photo with her boyfriend, Canadian producer Murda Beatz, in the hospital room, and showed that she was receiving the affection of her beloved. “The best nurse,” she said.

In another post, the singer posted a picture of Gkay, who was also company at the hospital. “The best friend you can have in the hospital,” she wrote, thanking the influencer.
