Roberto Carlos’ traditional end-of-year show on Globo inspired other broadcasters to go in search of a noteworthy attraction.

Record, Band and SBT went looking for names to feature in the Christmas shows, as a way to attract audiences. And, as it depends, romance will give way to country music.

At the Record, Zezé Di Camargo will do the honors. The channel will show a performance by his compatriot during his cruise, which took place a few days ago.

SBT also hunted down a famous person and closed with Gustavo Lima, who has already recorded his special online, complete with famous guests and black tie looks.

The Band will focus on Ana Castela, who, coincidentally, is in the special “Amiga”, on Globo.

It remains to be seen who will win the battle in terms of viewership.
