Rapper Jay-Z is accused in a lawsuit of raping a 13-year-old girl in the 2000s, at a party after the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), alongside P. Diddy. Information on the case was reported exclusively by the international portal NBC Newsthis Sunday, the 8th.

The lawsuit in question, according to the site, was originally filed in October in the Southern District of New York. P. Diddy was listed as a defendant and, this Sunday, the lawsuit would be reopened to include Jay-Z.

According to NBC, the lawsuit describes that the girl was dropped off at the VMAs by a friend. She did not have tickets to enter and reportedly approached several limousine drivers seeking access to the show or an after-party.

One of these drivers then said that she worked for P.Diddy and that “it fit what he was looking for” and invited her to a party for the artist. After the VMAs, he picked her up and carried her to a “white house with a U-shaped entryway,” the lawsuit says. There, to enter the celebrity-filled party, the girl had to sign a confidentiality document and did not receive a copy of the document.

The girl says they offered her a drink that made her feel “dizzy, dizzy and felt like she needed to lie down.” Then he went to a room to rest. It was there that she claims she was sexually assaulted by Jay-Z and P.Diddy.

This is one of several lawsuits accusing P. Diddy of assault and rape that have emerged in recent months, but it is the first in which another high-profile defendant is named. Diddy was criminally charged in September with racketeering, sex trafficking and other crimes by federal prosecutors in New York and remains in prison. His trial is scheduled for next year.

Diddy’s legal representatives call the lawsuits “blatant publicity stunts designed to extort payments from celebrities who fear lies will be spread about them, just as lies have been spread about Mr. Combs.”
