Flávio de Castro Sousa, 36, disappeared during a trip to Paris

He was in the French capital to photograph a friend’s wedding, but decided to extend the trip until November 26th to enjoy the city he loved so much. Alex was the last person to have contact with Flávio. Alex reported that Flávio was worried about his luggage, which had been left in the apartment he rented. The friend said that if there were any problems, the photographer could stay at his house, but he replied: “Don’t worry, I’ll manage.”
According to Alex, the photographer negotiated with the real estate agency and got another apartment. Flávio’s last message to his friend was: “I’ll try to sleep. I’m exhausted.” Alex was surprised by the Brazilian’s lack of contact the next day and called him several times, to no avail.
“I started to find everything very strange. I went back to the rented apartment, tried to enter the password for the digital lock, but it didn’t work. Then I called the real estate agency and they said: ‘Look, we don’t I know where he is. But Flávio’s cell phone was answered by a gentleman who works in a restaurant,'” the Frenchman reported. The restaurant was near the Seine, near the spot where Flávio fell.
It was Alex who contacted both Lucien, the photographer’s partner, and Rafael, who lives in Paris. Friends turned to the Brazilian consulate to report the photographer’s disappearance.
Rafael reiterated that they are trying to access street cameras in Paris. “It’s one of the most watched cities in the world. And we’re talking about this place right here, because the restaurant where the cell phone was found is on this side.
