Exposure on social media…

Ah, I think there is a limit, yes, with respect to exposure on social media, especially in the private, family context, I think that not everything should be exposed, because these are things that we also have to resolve at home like some of the bullshit I see done in many on social media, I think they are a bit useless, I don’t get involved in this type of situation precisely because I think they should be resolved in another way, so I prefer to distance myself from 100% of personal life transformed into digital life, one thing is that I do a lot here, which we are very careful about home, but, apart from that, I interact very well with my follower base, fan base, I share my moments, which I find most interesting, especially in the area of what I like that we talk about, which is the sports area , the healthcare area, the family area with more applicable concepts, let’s put it that way. Other people who have children, who have wives, you know, who have partners, right? In truth. So, I think over the last ten years I’ve made it part of these followers’ routines, as they are part of mine, and I try to present it in an increasingly healthy way for them, and that’s fine. All interactions are always welcome.

Basketball: massification of sport and lifestyle

We have worked to promote this sport, since it is a culturally American sport, I think that for some decades we have had restrictions on the practice, because normally we are the country of football, so little has been said about what we talk about today, which is the style of life surrounding basketball, I think this is the key point that has made basketball grow in the country, especially the NBA, through the culture and lifestyle of the players, the music they listen to, the way they dress . We’re living in a good moment now, after a hiatus of at least almost two decades, at least a decade, in which Brazilians moved away from basketball.

The results of our selections also influence. An Olympic medal, a South American medal, a medal in a World Cup, all this influences and attracts more fans and more eyes to this sport. But I think we’re on the right track, especially with content creation on social media, which has impacted a lot of people through the other elements that make up basketball.

The pre is more work…

Preparing content, scheduling interviewees, scheduling, producing work for interviews and programs, are much more complicated than actually taking the microphone and presenting or interviewing. That’s why, for me, the preliminary phase is more tiring, because when you turn on the camera and give me the microphone, I feel very comfortable, and that’s why I can play this role and present different, I don’t know, in various sectors . Entertainment, sport, health, because that’s what I like to do.

The most precious objects I have…

The most precious item I have, there are some really interesting ones, but there are two that I want to mention. One is a t-shirt of Magic Johnson, former Los Angeles Lakers player, five-time NBA champion, who recently came to Brazil and I have an autographed t-shirt of his, which represents a lot, he is one of the greatest players of all time. There are causes involved in his story, for example the prejudice against HIV, that he is an athlete carrying the virus, but he lives well to this day, even with the virus still present, of course, but he raised very interesting causes during career, so that’s it, he’s an idol on and off the pitch and I have his signed shirt.

And another is a basketball I received in 2020, which only exists in 2020 units. His is in the world and I was awarded one of these balls by the NBA, my 1190, so I have one of the few balls represented by ‘NBA in the 20 years of the league and it’s been really great.

Aline Gotschalg is the ideal partner…

Yes, Aline supports me a lot in my results. Whenever I travel to do a broadcast, to create content for the NBA, she always supports me, holding bar at home with our son, who is 8 years old, so she’s a great partner in that sense, and in relation to style, she is one of the most elegant people in this country, so I have to follow her when we have these events, and like a good basketball player, we have style, this is one of the characteristics of basketball players, so I think I’m going on the right path.

Son: he has developed skills…

Artistic skills He is very creative, draws, attends drawing courses. He can do video editing in technology and has been editing videos for eight years! He is very focused on the artistic side of creation and has been developing his sporting skills over the past year. He does jujitsu and now he went to the basketball courts with me, he grew up, he had fun and I don’t force him, right? He takes his time… even if he sees me talk a lot about basketball, I don’t force him, but I think he’s slowly gaining confidence and having a lot of fun. I think that’s the role of a father and mother: to present opportunities and he shows interest and then we delve into what he’s interested in. It’s useless, I won’t force him to play football since he doesn’t like football, because every boy must play football. So that’s not the way we create here at home.
