Preta Gil reveals the real state of health after a delicate surgery

This Monday 6 Preta Gil used the feed of his official Instagram profile to reveal his real state of health. She shared some photos taken in her room at Sírio-Libanês hospital, where she is hospitalized after undergoing surgery to remove a tumor late last year.

The 50-year-old singer thanked the affection received from fans and reassured everyone.

“Loves, I’m here to keep you calm! I continue my battle here. One day at a time, with faith and getting stronger every day! Thank you for all the prayers and positive energies, I feel them every day. Peace and love in the hearts of everyone, I love you! I’m back!”he said.

Out of intensive care

On January 1, the artist told his fans that he had left the intensive care unit. On social media he published a photo with his family, gathered in the hospital to spend New Year’s Eve together, and revealed the news.

“Loves, at the end of the year, I come to share the news that I have left intensive care! My heart is full of joy to have such special people by my side, who fill me with love every day and make me want live more every day”, he said.

Even more, in the post, Preta took the opportunity to thank Ivete Sangalo, who, during Show da Virada, on Globo, paid tribute to her friend. “And the happiness was double: I received such a beautiful and generous gift from my beloved sister @ivetesangalo in Copacabana.
