He continues: “He tells us thatThe series will return for a seventh season. At this point, Chad looks at me and asks if I got an offer to attend. I tell him no, and he confirms no.”
“We know we’re not really coming back”
“There’s everybody hugging each other. Everybody’s excited! We know we might not be back, actually. Peyton got hit by a car last episode. She’s on her death row, and best of all, we’re the two highest-paid actors on the show at that point.” reveals the actor before adding:
“We know it’s possible. Our bosses are in town, so we ask to see them. It’s only 2 o’clock, so we think they have time to come to the set to explain to us. We want someone to talk to us, but they refuse. However, they took the time to go to dinner with some of the cast to celebrate the news.”

“We experienced it as a betrayal, we were easily replaced!” concludes Hilary Burtonunequivocally confirmed that they never offered to return for season 7. If that were the case, Lucas and Peyton would probably stay until the end of the season. Scott Brothers. who knows
