The actress tried not to despair and, gritting her teeth, came to the set, where she also made the audience laugh. Her perseverance and reluctance to give up were rewarded: in the last season of Friends, Monica became pregnant, and the actress herself in 2004, after two cycles of IVF, became the mother of her daughter, whom she named Coco.
