SBT is dealing with the production of the Brazilian version of the reality show “Hotel de los Famosos”, a great success on Argentine TV launched last March, which mixes elements of “BBB” and “A Fazenda”.
A reality of confinement with rotating games and roles, the original program followed 16 celebrities locked up in a luxury hotel without services, who each week compete in tests to define who will take on the roles of guests and who will be the employees, with a ‘ elimination per week.
Guests stay in spacious rooms and enjoy swimming pool, spa and bar, buffet breakfast and other meals. Employees, on the other hand, need to stay in a service area with poor comfort and carry out various maintenance and service activities for guests, such as washing clothes, preparing coffee and other meals, taking care of the green spaces and the swimming pool, repairs and general maintenance of the plants, on order of the production managers.
The rights belong to Diego Guebel, known in Brazil as the creator of “CQC” (2008-2015) and for having been the band’s director for the last decade. If the contract is closed, the Brazilian version will debut in 2023.
The information was initially published by the columnist Flávio Ricco and confirmed by several sources. Silvio Santos has already given the green light.
In Argentina, the reality show raised the audience of the El Trece channel, which reached 15 points, a very high number by local standards.
