Bolsonaro makes a speech in English and becomes a joke: “Hilario”

During his speech, Bolsonaro surprised to go to the public – and to the world – in English. With simple but calculated phrases, he tried to attract the attention of the international community to the decisions of the Supreme Court (STF), who sentenced several participants of the documents. The former president was the subject of comments of support and criticism.

“What happens”The former president said before admitting a personal limitation: “I don’t speak English, a big defect in my training, but I want to give a message here in the world and then I do the translation for you”. Following, he cited the case of two Brazilians sentenced for the Stf: Otoniel da Cruz, 45 years old, icing seller and Carlos Eifler, 54 years old, who sold Popcorn Gourmet.

Both were accused of attempted coup. “Popcorn and ice cream are convinced of trying a coup in Brazil”, Bolsonaro said, before completing, still in English: “This is shameful. These two should not be punished for crime that has never happened.” The speech generated a strong reaction among its supporters, who have ephousely applauded the tone of the international complaint.
