According to the responsible medical team, Leo has evolved favorably from hospitalization. “It remains clinically stable, without fever, with spontaneous breathing, without the need for ventilatory support and with a good tolerance to walking”, details the document signed by the cardiologist-intensivist Ludhmila Hajjar.

On Instagram, Leo explained that, before hospitalization, he had just returned from a 12 -day season to the Asian continent. However, the symptoms arrived after the live coverage of the latest edition of the Lun City Festival in San Paolo on March 29. “I had to move away from the commitments after being diagnosed with a pneumonia,” he wrote.

In addition, according to the newsletter, there is a discharge expectation in the next 48 hours, “depending on the maintenance of satisfactory clinical evolution”. The journalist is still in clinical follow -up and antibiotic therapy.

This morning Leo recorded a video directly from the hospital to reassure his followers. “I’m still taking up again and I think I go back to work next week,” said the journalist. He also took the moment to thank the support he received.
