Robert De Niro comments on his daughter: “I love all my children”

The actor Robert De Niro81, made a public declaration on his relationship with his daughter Airyn29, who recently took on a trans woman.

“I loved and supported Aaron like my son, and now I love and support Airyn as my daughter. I don’t know what the big problem is … I love all my children,” he told a note on the expiry site on Wednesday 30.

The declaration was made after the repercussion of an Airyn interview with the magazine Theyin which he spoke of growing in the spotlight of the Oscar winner and the gender transition process.

At the time, he said he decided to start the use of hormones in November 2024 as part of the transition process. “I was always very feminine, even before I know exactly what it meant,” he said.

He underlined that the transition also approached it to the black female references that he has always admired, such as Laverne Cox, Marsha P. Johnson and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. “The transition also faced my darkness. I feel closer to these women when I hug this new identity.”

Airyn is Niro’s daughter with actress at 72 years old Toukie Smith. Although they have never married, they had a report of almost ten years between the 80s and 90s.
