Marcello Antony exposes the prejudice with his son to have the HIV gene: “never desired”

At 60, Marcello Antony showed off the adoption of his son and spoke of the prejudice suffered by the heir for being with HIV. At the time, the process was simplified by the authorities, since no one wanted to adopt the boy because of the condition approved by the biological mother.

“I was in one interview the other day and I ended up commenting, very quickly, that I adopted one of my children knowing that I was the bearer of the HIV gene. Marcelo said he had a strong connection with his son after the adoption: “We had no idea what I was waiting for us. I never talked about the spiritual strength of our meeting, as if it were a kind of past life. On the more psychoanalytic side, I designed in him, a defenseless child who needs welcome, feeling that I treated in therapy.”

THE actor He also remembered attempts to get pregnant with his wife, Monica Torres: “Five pregnancies were not forward, one of which three months. I lost, pregnant, I lost again and we tried. We did everything to have a child, we resorted to various techniques, but it was not possible. We therefore decided to go to adoption. As a child with the HIV gene, nobody wanted him. Usually it takes years”.
