Sabrina Carpenter can take on a drastic attitude towards its shows

Sabrina Carpenter, a 26 -year -old American singer and songwriter, is evaluating the possibility of limiting the use of cell phones during his performances. The reflection came after a personal experience during a Silk Sonic concert in Las Vegas, where public devices were confiscated at the entrance.

The artist revealed that he was hit by the atmosphere created in the absence of mobile devices. “I went to see Silk Sonic in Las Vegas and blocked my cell phone. I never had a better experience in a show,” said Rolling Stone.

He described the atmosphere as more connected among people: “It seemed that I had returned in the 70s, everyone sang, danced, looked at each other, laughing. It was something really beautiful.”

Although he has not yet made a definitive decision, Sabrina recognizes that the use of cell phones in shows is common among the youngest. “Unfortunately, this is very normal for me. I can’t blame anyone for wanting to keep the memories,” he said. However, the singer suggests that over time it can adopt the measure. “Depending on how long I will take tours and age … girls, keep these cell phones.”

During the interview, he also played with the fact that in the future he would not have preferred not to be recorded so closely on stage. “Now my skin is soft and lush. Okay. But don’t get zoom on me when I’m 80 on stage,” he said.

Other names of music such as Adele, Madonna and Silk Sonic himself have already adopted similar practices in some of their tours. The initiative aims to stimulate a more engaging experience between artist and public, free from the constant mediation of the screens.
