The singer Marvvila was made official as Muse of Portalla for Carnival 2026. The announcement took place on Wednesday (23 July), through the social networks of the Samba School. The artist’s formal presentation is scheduled for the semifinal of the Samba-Plot competition, scheduled for September 21, at the Maduraira court.
Born in Bento Ribeiro, northern district of Rio de Janeiro, Marvvila has an old link with the blue and white school. In 2017, the year in which Portalla won his last title in the special group, he rose to the stage of the traditional Feijoada of the Portelense family, where he sang together with the old guardian show – symbolic set of the group’s musical history.
With a career consolidated in the pagoda, Marvvila is known for successes such as “The Pagodeira”, “with every kiss” and “Gale”. The artist, who is part of the community of Portlense, has enthusiastically celebrated the invitation and said he was enthusiastic about representing the school in one of the greatest cultural events in the country.

The president of Portela, Junior Escafura, evaluated the choice of the new muse to represent the territory of Portlense.
