The former civil police Filippo Becari, current councilor of Sao Paulo for the União Brasil party, is under investigation for the crime of embezzlement (embezzlement of public funds). The investigation became public through an article by the journalist Leo Dias for the Metrópoles portal.
The politician, who became famous for his work in defense of animals and is dating the actress and former BBB Carla Diaz, allegedly used public money to create and update their official website on a monthly basis. The expenses exceed R $ 110 thousand.

In the accounts presented by the councilor there are notes issued by a company that would have been established in 2021 and which issued banknotes only at Felipe Becari’s office, one a month. In the description of these notes we inform that these values refer to the maintenance of the website “www.felipebecari.com.br”.
The company was created in the name of Mayra Morelli Gaia Fujie, who was named Rafael Saraiva, head of the councilor’s cabinet. On Earth, Saraiva also confirmed the relationship and justified it by saying that her cousin has been providing this type of service “for more than 15 years”.
The chief of staff also said that this is not the only complaint against the commissioner. “There are more than 70 complaints against Felipe (Becari), of all kinds, several have already been filed, he is the victim of legal persecution,” Saraiva said.
Felipe Becari’s lawyer issued a note stating that the commissioner was the subject of “completely false and criminal charges”. The note also states that documents have been submitted that can prove the regularity of the process and that legal measures are being taken.
The complaint has also contacted the Civil Police, but has not yet received a response.
