11 -year -old Girl dies after being beaten by colleagues in a school in Pernambuco

A tragedy shook the backcountry of pernambuco this weekend. The student Alícia ValentinaJust 11 years old, he died after being attacked by colleagues within the Tia Zita municipal school in Belém do San Francisco. The girl’s brain death was confirmed on Saturday evening (6) to the Restoration Hospital of Recife, where she had been transferred due to the severity of the photo.

What happened

According to family members, Alicia was initially brought from his school to a local hospital after bleeding his nose. Released after the service, he returned home, but began to bleed through the ear. Once again sent to the health place, he was again discharged.

Hours later, the girl began to throw up the blood and had to be transferred to Salgueiro and subsequently to receive, where she could not resist the injuries.

School votes and municipalities

In an official note, the school reported that it has provided “all necessary help” and called the competent bodies. Already the city of Belém Do São Francisco stressed that he offered family support from the beginning, with accompaniment of the secretariat of education, social assistance and health.

Investigation in progress

The Civil Police of Pernambuco has opened an investigation to investigate the circumstances of the attack, but did not provide more details to involve minors. Initially, the victim’s age has been informed as 10 years, but the family confirmed that Alicia had 11.

The student’s body remains at the Forensic Medical Institute (Iml) of Recife and should only be released on Tuesday (9). The information on the burial has not yet been released.
