The teenager, who inherited his father’s name and passion, was already training in boxing and competing in amateur fights, with dreams of becoming a professional and honoring his family’s legacy in the ring.
Arturo Gatti Jr. he was only 10 months old when his father, one of the greatest legends of world boxing, died mysteriously in Brazil in 2009. The athlete’s body was found in an apartment in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, while he was on holiday with his wife and son. The case, which involved suspicions of murder and suicide, never had a definitive outcome.
