Ironman 70.3 will take place on Sunday 26th at Praia dos Ingleses, in Florianópolis (SC). In total, 2,000 triathletes, including professionals and amateurs, will have to cover 113 km (1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21.1 km of running) to win a prize of 50,000 dollars, the equivalent of approximately R$ 250,000 at current prices.

“I have a friend who does a full Ironman. He told me about the challenge, the strategy, the training. This attracted me. In the last five years of my career, I started to reflect on the possibility of doing this race one day too. I think the challenge lies in putting myself in the shoes of a student: I really like to challenge myself with swimming techniques, cycling and running strategies. All this makes me even more curious and motivated to put myself to the test my mentality as an athlete.”
