The influencer Isabel Veloso He underwent a bone marrow transplant this Friday (24th) and moved his followers by recounting the experience on social media. The donor was his father, Joelson Veloso which showed 60% compatibility. Having been treated for cancer since 2015, Isabel, emotionally, thanked him for the gesture which, according to her, gave her a new chance at life. “When I was little, my father carried me in his womb. In an interview with Quem, Joelson shared details about the donation process. “Even with only 60% compatibility, my genetic profile was considered the safest and most viable for Isabel at that time”he stated. He explained that he needed three days of medication before the marrow harvest, which was done with the help of a catheter.
