Actor Igor Cosso, recently seen in the soap opera “Salve-se Quem Puder”, indignantly posted on social networks an advertisement for a gay sauna in Curitiba (PR), which used a photo of him as a poster boy.
“Safofo: to look naughty and pretty at the same time,” says the ad piece, showing the actor shirtless.
The most incredible thing is that the sauna sent the material to the actor.
“And a gay sauna in Curitiba that used photos of me in their Instagram posts and ads and sent me? I’m happy with my boyfriend [Heron Leal] is a lawyer, “he tweeted, warning that he will sue for the misuse of the image.
“Look at this! ‘Safofo’, pqp. Everyone in my life has seen it,” he added.
The post had a serious tone, but the heartthrob’s followers had a lot of fun with the reveal.
“Was it an improper use of the image? Yes! Was it a lie? No!” Wrote one person about the “safofo”.
“I know what they did was wrong, but I’m laughing a lot. (Laughs) The Brazilian’s audacity is unsurpassed,” said another.
After the complaint, the post with the actor is no longer on the company’s official Instagram.
It is worth pointing out that the protest was due to the misuse of his image and not the content of the ad.
In 2020, after swapping Record’s biblical soap operas for “Salve-se Quem Puder” on Globo, Igor took advantage of LGBTQIA + Pride Day to admit he was gay, sharing a photo with his boyfriend. “Since he is about to lose followers, a sharper and more beautiful love photo of me”, he wrote in the caption of the publication on Instagram.
