The film alien nights was the big winner of the 50th edition of the Gramado Film Festival. Sérgio de Carvalho’s feature film won 6 Kikitos, for Best Picture, Best Actor (Gabriel Knox), Best Supporting Actor (Chico Diaz) and Best Supporting Actress (Joana Gatis).

The production drew attention with a narrative about the criminal factions in the Amazon region.
