The first episodes of Mike: Besides Tyson are now available on Star +! The production is an unauthorized, unlimited biography of Mike Tyson’s life and explores Mike Tyson’s dynamic and controversial story.
From creator and screenwriter Steven Rogers, Mike: Besides Tyson, the miniseries tackles the ups and downs of Tyson’s trajectory, both in boxing and in his personal life: from the athlete adored around the world to the man criticized. Without detracting from the wrestler, the series also examines racism and classicism in the United States, the fame and power of the media, misogyny, the division of wealth, the promise of the American dream and, ultimately, the role of the public in the Mike’s story.

Cus D’Amato was one of the greatest coaches in boxing history and began coaching Tyson when he was only 15 years old.
