Klara Castanho opens a criminal complaint against Leo Dias, Antonia Fontenelle and Dri Paz

Actress Klara Castanho (“Buongiorno, Veronica”) filed a criminal complaint against journalist Leo Dias and youtubers Antonia Fontenelle and Adriana Kappaz, known as Dri Paz, for the crimes of defamation, slander and slander.

The trial was filed with the TJRJ (Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro) and the penalties for defamation and slander can go up to one year, while the penalty for defamation can go up to two years.

Castanho claims that the three made up lies about her pregnancy, as well as spread the information on the internet. Klara also reported feeling humiliated by the revelation of her rape of her.

In June, she published what she called “the hardest account of my life”, revealing that she was raped, got pregnant and given the baby up for adoption. The confession was made after the news spread with the exposure of the actress.

The story gained momentum after Antonia Fontenelle said on a live broadcast that “a 21-year-old global actress would become pregnant and donate the baby for adoption.”

Previously Leo Dias had talked about the subject, without naming names, in an interview for “The Noite com Danilo Gentili” (SBT).

The defense of the actress claims that the journalist insulted the artist during the interview by deducing “that Klara Castanho would be an actress ‘who sells an image that everyone thinks is holy’, which has a ‘plot’ and that what did is ‘lose faith in humanity’ “.

In defense of Klara, even without naming names, he would have left no doubt that he was referring to her.

The lawyers also say that she would have passed on information about Klara’s pregnancy – leaked from the hospital – to Antonia Fontenelle and Dri Paz.

Dri Paz followed the same line, posting a video on the social network Kwai “attributing” to the actress the crime of having abandoned an incapable actress. She would have said that the young woman paid her to “disappear with the child”, which constitutes libel and slander.

In July, the court denied Klara Castanho’s injunction against Antonia Fontenelle. The actress asked for the withdrawal of the statements made by the Bolsonarian youtuber about her, when she exposed the birth for adoption of the child following the rape suffered by the actress.

In the document, signed by Judge Flávia Viveiro de Castro, of the 2nd Civil Court of Barra, the magistrate removed the secrecy of justice from the trial and understood that the determination to withdraw Fontenelle’s statements would be “a kind of censorship”.

Despite this, this action continues in civil proceedings with a claim for compensation.
