Lindsay Lohan was another ex-girlfriend of Aaron Carter who spoke after the singer’s death. Lohan and Carter dated in the early 2000s and the artist ended up breaking up with the actress to get back together Hilary Duff.
In an interview with the American portal Access Hollywood, Lohan talked about the death of the artist during the promotion of his new film from Netflix, Fall for Christmas.
“So many (memories) from when I was so young, just that moment in my life … and my prayers go out to your family, may you rest in peace and God bless.” She also commented that it had been “a long time” since the two had last spoken.
The relationship between Lohan and Carter began when the singer was still dating former Disney star Hilary Duff between 2001 and 2003. In 2005, in an interview with CNBC, Aaron talked about the relationship between the two stars.
“I started dating Hilary [Duff] on my 13th birthday. I dated her for a year and a half and then got a little bored, so I started getting to know Lindsay, going out and dating Lindsay. So I didn’t want to do it anymore and I’m back with Hilary. “
Duff also mourned the death of his ex-boyfriend, saying that his “teenage me” loved him dearly and longed for “family love” during this difficult time.
