Rolando Boldrin, actor, singer and presenter, dies at 86 in SP

In front of the ‘Mr. Brasil ‘for 17 years, Boldrin has echoed representative artists from all regions of Brazil

The actor, singer, songwriter and presenter Rolando Boldrin, 86, died on Wednesday 9 in Sao Paulo. The artist’s death was confirmed by Television culture. Boldrin had been hospitalized for two months at Albert Einstein Hospital. The cause of his death has not been revealed.

The vigil is scheduled for the Legislative Assembly of the State of Sao Paulo (Alesp), still without a set time. On social media, the broadcaster published a tribute to Rolando Boldrin, who was in front of the ‘Mr. Brazil ‘for 17 years.

“With ‘Mr. Brasil’, which he presented for 17 years, he ‘taken Brazil out of the drawer’ and joined the most representative artists from all regions of the country. Boldrin also presented the ‘Som Brasil’ programs on Globo; ‘Emporio Brasileiro’ on TV Bandeirantes; and ‘Emporio Brasil’ on SBT.
