Paramount+ has released in the United States the first teaser of the series “1923”, the second spin-off of “Yellowstone”, which stars none other than Helen Mirren (“The Queen”) and Harrison Ford (“Indiana Jones”). The two appear prominently in the preview, guns drawn.
After “1883”, set in the Old West, the new attraction will take place in the period between the First World War and the Great Depression, marked by the pandemic, the historical drought, the economic crisis, Prohibition and the rise of the gangsters, which they replaced outlaw cowboys in crime chronicles and inspired a Hollywood film franchise.
The new series is scheduled for two seasons, consisting of eight episodes each.
In addition to Ford and Mirren as members of the Dutton family, in charge of all attractions, the series also stars Brandon Sklenar (“Westworld”), Darren Mann (“Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”), Michelle Randolph (“Dark Night ” ) Witch”), James Badge Dale (“Last Day Messenger”), Marley Shelton (“Scream 4”), Brian Geraghty (“Big Sky”), Aminah Nieves (“V/H/S/99”), Julia Schlaepfer (“The Politician”), Jerome Flynn (“Game of Thrones”) and Timothy Dalton (“Doom Patrol”).
The three series of the “Yellowstone” universe are creations of Taylor Sheridan, nominated for an Oscar for best original screenplay for “At Any Cost” (2016).
