Journalist and Globo presenter Thiago Oliveira and entrepreneur Bruna Matuti have revealed that they are planning a wedding with just 11 guests, in an interview with ‘gshow’. The super-intimate ceremony is expected to take place on December 4, for family and close friends only.

The wedding will take place at the couple’s home in São Paulo, and the choice to celebrate the wedding with just a few guests will make the day even more special, according to them. “It will be really intimate. There are 13 people counting with us. It will be at the end of the afternoon, the altar will be made in the jabuticabeira tree and will have lights, candles and flowers. Very beautiful and special to mark for us and our family “Bruna said.

The couple has been civilly married for a year and a half and decided to celebrate a traditional religious ceremony when Thiago surprised Bruna on her birthday in October.

“On paper we got married a year and a half ago and she never wanted to get married like the mores. She’s been talking to me a lot since then. I was stuck at first, I’ve been married twice and I respect everything I’ve experienced in my past, but I didn’t know if I was ready,” says the journalist.

“I felt the need for a ceremony and I started talking to him. I never dreamed of getting married in church, I always wanted to have a baby. But with him it’s different… Thiago awakened in me desires that I didn’t have […] He asked me to marry him, it seemed cute and I didn’t expect it,” added Bruna.

Thiago is the host of Globo’s morning show “É de Casa” and has a long history as a sports journalist. He began his career in the Super Esporte newspaper, from Gazeta, from 2010 to 2013. He also adds passages in Tá na Área and Troca de Passes, from SporTV, as well as Esporte Espetacular, between 2014 and 2021.
