Actress Denise Richards (“007”) was involved in a shooting on Tuesday (11/15) while traveling in Los Angeles.
The case began with a traffic accident. At the time, Richards was sitting in the passenger seat of a pickup truck driven by her husband, Aaron Phypers. The two were on their way to a studio in Los Angeles where she was scheduled to record.
At one point, Phypers had to slow down to find a parking space. This enraged a driver behind them who, in a fit of rage, opened fire on the two.
The case was reported by the website TMZ, which even shared photos of the bullet holes in Richards’ truck. According to the report, “Denise has gotten over the emotions of it all and [ao chegar] worked for 12 hours”.
A source told People magazine that Richards “was very shaken and terrified, but she’s a warrior and was filming all day. She didn’t want to lose her job.”
The source also said the couple only realized their car had been shot at when they parked at the studio.
Later in the day, an off-duty police officer escorted the couple as they walked home.
Richards commented on the incident on her Twitter, responding to a comment made by a user who wished she had been injured in the incident. The subject’s comment was deleted for violating Twitter rules, but Richards’ response stood.
“Thank you. I would never wish anyone harm. What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care, was the scariest situation I’ve ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck … idiot,” he wrote.
