Philip Netto justified why he declined an invitation to go to Qatar Cup with “all paid”. According to the influencer, who is a Botafogo fan and has always said he is passionate about football, issues involving women’s rights, the LGBT community and other topics, it was what caused the invitation to be rejected.
“I was invited to go to Qatar to watch all the matches I wanted, with everything paid for, and I refused. I have nothing against whoever went, it’s my problem. I can’t fight so much for human rights, for all programs and struggles that I fight here in Brazil and I go to a country like Qatar to celebrate, this ended up speaking the loudest and I thought it best to stay here” Felipe said on his Instagram.
However, he said the decision was made during the time of the sporting event but ruled out the possibility of visiting the country one day.
