In a series of videos posted on Instagram, he explained that he had to wait a bit before speaking.
Former farmer Andressa Urach took to social media this Saturday (26) to tell her side of the story of her forced confinement to a psychiatric clinic. The dancer was locked up for 20 days in therapy after having a psychotic break and, according to her husband, having tried to kill her son León, still a child.
In a series of videos posted on Instagram, she explained that she had to wait a while to speak because the doctors wanted her to have a stress-free first few days. “I haven’t touched on the subject for a week. Not because I didn’t want to, but because I couldn’t and had to obey medical orders,” she said.
However, after learning that her husband, Thiago Lopes, shot a video accusing her of trying to kill her son, she decided to speak out.
“On October 30th, my excellent husband, my husband, called me the police. The police arrived in front of the house and took me to SAMU, which took me to a psychiatric hospital. Here in Rio Grande do Sul , [no Hospital] San Jose,” he said.
“I was really having a breakdown, because I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Now it was the diagnosis of psychologists and psychiatrists in the [Hospital] San Jose,” he added.
Then Andressa floats a conspiracy theory, saying that “someone” drugged her to have the outbreak.
“Someone got me a drink [sic], that I was logged out. I don’t know who, but it just so happened that I disconnected,” he said. “I believed that Jesus would return right then, that day. So there was this disconnect from reality. But I think I don’t need hospitalization.”
He does not accuse “someone”, but Thiago Lopes of forcing hospitalization. “Because I was logged out, my husband called the police for me. He forcibly admitted me, together with the police, together with SAMU.”
Andressa says she didn’t want to take the meds. For this, she claims she was tied up and given injections to pass out. “I woke up and was put in a psychiatric hospital by my husband.”
According to her account, she only got out of there with the help of her mother.
The dancer also accuses her ex-husband of having gone to Maranhão with León, the couple’s son, without his mother’s permission.
“I beg him to give my son back. He claims I was putting people at risk, and anyone who was in the hospital knows I was no risk to anyone,” he lamented.
After seeing the video, Thiago also used social networks to refute the allegations. In some publications he wrote: “Imagine what doctors’ heads must be like right now.” He then posted, “Since I have that power, I’m going to see the next person I want to commit.”
Also, he shared a post by Andressa stating that, if he doesn’t see his son until Sunday, he will report him for kidnapping. “No need to wait until Sunday and then go,” she wrote.
When revealing his wife’s hospitalization, Thiago said he would also file for divorce, because she would risk the life of their 9-month-old son by saying she would “offer him as a sacrifice.”
According to Thiago, “Andressa had a psychotic break” and “it was a very scary episode”. He reported: “She even put Leon’s life, mine and my mother’s at risk. During the outbreak she even said that Leon would be Isaac [da BÃblia], that I offer Leon as a sacrifice. These are things that are out of touch with reality. There have been a lot of scary things that are sad to talk about.”
