Turning 62 in October, Marcia Manfredini was elated for several reasons.

I was waiting for the premiere of some works in 2023, such as participation in the series ‘Use Your Voice’ (HBO Max) and ‘Marcelo Marmelo Martelo’ (Paramount Brasil) and in the film ‘Sincope’, by director Luciano Ferrari.

Voter Lula, for whom she campaigned on social media and took to the streets during campaign events, wanted to watch the president take office for a third term.

But, suddenly, the imponderable has imposed itself. Marcia Manfredini went to sleep and she never woke up. An abrupt end that moved relatives, friends and fans.

The actress lived with her mother, Dona Cida, 82, and her daughter Luiza in Tatuapé, a middle-class neighborhood in east São Paulo. Her son Nicolas lives in Portugal, where he works as a theater lighting designer.

The comedic vein seen in several roles on TV – gossip Irene from ‘Sandy & Júnior’, nosy Abigail from ‘A Grande Família,’ among others – reproduced the actress’ good humor in real life.

The impression of an existence unjustly interrupted remains. An early death. Marcia Manfredini still had much to offer dramatic art.

Fortunately, we will be able to see it in reruns on TV, in productions made available on the Internet and in works yet to be published.

The death generated media exposure the actress has not had in the nearly 4 decades of her career. As a supporting actor, he stole the show, however, it didn’t have repercussions commensurate with her talent.
