Lady Gaga used the success of “Wandinha” to launch a viral video on Tiktok. The singer took advantage of the platform dance fame to imitate Jenna Ortega’s dance in the series, only pausing to the sound of her song “Bloody Mary”.
Far from being a gothic psychobilly like “Goo Goo Muck”, the eighth track of the album “Born This Way”, released by Gaga in 2011, had already gone viral after being chosen at random by the singer’s fans to replace the classic by the Cramps in a video of the same dance last week. And thanks to this initiative, “Bloody Mary”, which was never a single, has ended up in the Spotify charts in recent days.
Gaga now completes the circle, appearing herself dancing to the music.
The original choreography was created by Jenna Ortega herself during the recording. And she also revealed that she has covid-19 when she shot the scene.
Launched on November 23 on Netflix, ‘Wandinha’ is currently the 3rd most watched British series of all time on Netflix.
