Singer Simony finished her bowel cancer radiotherapy sessions and celebrated the end of treatment. To the Meet with Patricia Poetin Globe TVthis Tuesday 20, she said she was “very happy and grateful”.

He revealed that he will still have to take exams every three months, after 30 treatment sessions. “My treatment is over, it’s been six long months of a lot of suffering and a lot of pain, but a lot of learning. Now, it’s faith in God, to keep going,” she said.

Simony discovered the tumor this year with a simple routine exam. With a tongue, the singer did a colonoscopy, when a tumor was found in the final part of the intestine, near the anus. The artist released the diagnosis to her fans in late July.

She was admitted to a hospital in São Paulo, but was discharged after undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions.

During the show, the singer thanked her fans for their support. “I am very happy and grateful to God, first of all, and to all of you because I have received a little bit of your heart, of your prayers,” she concluded.
