The ‘Pantanal’ actor decided to call his lawyers
The actor Marco Palmeira he was the victim of a coup and used his social networks to alert his followers to the situation. According to the artist, a doctor is using his image to sell an alleged treatment for prostatic hyperplasia.
“It’s fake. I was the victim of an internet scam and the fake news keeps circulating, like it’s a G1 story,” wrote the actor on Instagram, this Tuesday 20.
Again according to the “Pantanal” actor, the doctor would be saying that he uses the medicine to reach more victims of the scam. “The Facebook profile in the name of the alleged doctor Hélio Neves posted a link to a fake G1 page using my name to sell a drug for prostatic hyperplasia”added Marcos Palmeira.
Furthermore, the actor tried to deny the news, also appearing on the fact-checking tool of the G1 portal. There, he clarified that he had never used the drug and also did not have prostatic hyperplasia.
“The news of the scam came out in the Ancelmo Gois column of the O Globo newspaper. I have already called the lawyers but the fake site is still on the air and there must be several people who have fallen for the scam. Warning!”finally disclosed, saying he called his lawyers.
