Festival organizers commented on the confusion last Friday evening, 23
MC Daniel left a show last Friday, 23, in São Bernardo do Campo (SP) during a presentation at ‘Se Evolve Festival’. The singer said, atop the stage, that he was given death threats by the event contractor.
In the video circulating on social media, the singer interrupts the show and claims that he and his team have been threatened. “We come to sing here and the contractor says he’s going to shoot me?” he says into the microphone looking at someone behind the stage.
Then the show was stopped again and the funk singer decided to leave. “Family I’m not leaving because I want to, I’m leaving because my life is at risk […] I don’t know what’s going on, I won’t stay here.”
After the episode, the organization of the Festival spoke out. “We rented the ‘Crazy Bar’ house for our festival, yesterday was the birthday of the owner of the ‘Crazy Bar’ house, where he asked us to stand in the box next to the stage and ended up with this attitude that everyone they saw in the videos, we at Se Envolve Festival are the real clients and we also agreed with the artist MC Daniel when he left the scene, while we passed to the producer Jackson,” they wrote in the release.

According to the contractors, the disagreement occurred between Daniel and the owner of the café, and not with the contractor. According to them, the singer confused the term used to refer to Jackson, owner of the club. So far MC Daniel has not commented on the case.
