The press office of the band Bokaloka informed, through a note, that the vocalist Renato died at 17:38 on Thursday 5. The singer was hospitalized this Wednesday 4, after suffering a heart attack during a show in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio.
First, Renatinho was taken to the Lourenço Jorge hospital, but was then transferred to the National Institute of Cardiology, in Laranjeiras. The singer had to undergo a procedure to identify the blockage of the coronary arteries.
It wasn’t the first time Renatinho suffered a heart attack. In May 2022, he experienced a similar condition while on tour in Paris, France. At that time, he underwent surgery.
